The UK Independent reported that Total’s UK branch plead guilty to 3 charges related to the explosion at their Buncefield Oil Depot.

The explosion was the biggest peace-time explosion ever in Europe and could be heard 125 miles away. Property damage bills could be as high as £750 million.
