SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Member of the location management team. Directly responsible for the overall management of the Quality Department and oversees activities in the inspection, data collection and reporting of quality issues. Provides direction to the department for continuous improvement of quality and systems in the plant. Indirect responsible for all department employees to ensure quality standards are maintained. Direct responsibility for all department employees to ensure proper safety, orientation, training, development, compensation and working conditions are present. Focus on interdepartmental cooperation or interaction. The Quality Manager is responsible for root cause analysis; enhancing processes, and automatic systems capabilities to ensure continuous improvement in quality within the plant.
