Summit Golf

The Summit Tournament is almost here (Friday - April 27th).

Will a new team step up to win the coveted TapRooT® Summit Cup or will Ken Turnbull's Team return to dominate the tournament?

Part of the TapRooT® Summit in San Antonio is meeting new people and having fun. Spend an afternoon in the Texas sunshine:

 Portals 61 Ultraphotogallery 3141 21 Large Republic06

• at a great course (Republic Golf Club - rated #1 in San Antonio!)
• in a "scramble" (best ball) tournament
• making friends with your teammates
• contributing to your team's success!

The tournament is a scramble format. Each team member takes their turn and then the team plays from the best shot. Each team turn is a "stroke". That means that even beginners can contribute to the team effort by having a lucky shot or a good putt. And the competition for the trophy is intense. And you can win individual trophies on particular holes:

  • Longest drive
  • Closest to the pin

Spots in the tournament are limited so sign up for the Summit and register for the tournament today! For more info see the Golf Tournament link.

I have dusted off my snowy clubs and dragged them to Louisiana for a course. Unfortunately, they arrived the day after me. I am going to try them out on Wed to see if I can hone up my swing and knock Ken off his podium. A challenge. I just am counting on a good team (help me Mark) to pull it off. I will guarantee that my team has had the most fun each year!!

Michele - I think you are the third person to ask for "help" in selecting your team.

Fortunately the super-secret TapRooT® Super Computer does the pairing to assure a fair distribution of good and average players. Perhaps that's why my team has never won? (But there is always hope!)

I too have dusted off my clubs and went to the driving range yesterday. My first three drives were picture perfect - long and straight. I should have stopped and gone home.

I'm looking forward to the tournament and wish everyone the best of luck!

Mark
