How Do I Export a SnapCharT®?

Use This Procedure If...

- You need to send your SnapCharT® to another user
- You need to backup a specific SnapCharT®

Step by Step Instructions:

1 - With your SnapCharT® open, look at the upper left part of the window and you will see the name of the chart you are working on: (Write that filename down as it will be needed shortly)

2 – Go to Start – Run and in that window, type in “%temp%” without the quotes. Vista users select the Start Orb and type the previous text in the search box.

                                 Windows XP

                                    Vista

3 - This will open the Temp folder where we the current SnapCharT is stored while it’s being edited.  Scroll down until you find the file with the same name as the one you wrote down.

Once you find that file, you can right-click on it, select “copy," and then minimize all your windows to go back to your desktop.

4 - Right-click anywhere on the desktop and select “paste” to copy your SnapCharT® to the Desktop.

Now that you have the chart on your desktop, you can rename it, move it, or delete it without affecting the chart in the TapRooT® System Software.
