Is there a course in my area?

What is the course fee?

The Course fees in the US are as follows:

  • 2-Day $1195 USD
  • 3-Day $1995 USD
  • 5-Day $2595 USD

Doha prices are: 2-Day $1495  USD,  and 5-Day $3195 USD.

Is there a prerequisite for this course?

We do not require prerequisites for our 2-Day or 5-Day courses. The 1-Day Equifactor® course requires a 2-Day or 5-Day TapRooT® course beforehand. We always offer a 2-day course in the days before an Equifactor® course at the same location, so you’ll be able to meet this requirement with ease.

Can I get my certificate?

If you haven’t received your certificate of completion yet, e-mail judy@taproot.com to request it. Be advised that if you attended a course in Australia or Asia, this may take a little longer as we are located in the USA.

Do you have any courses in my language?

We currently offer courses in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. If you would like to attend any of these courses of have another language need, please e-mail info@taproot.com to request this.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! Here’s a sample of the discounts on US courses: When you sign up three or more attendees on the same invoice, each receives $100 off the course fee. Licensed site users also receive a discount: $100 off for 2-Day and $500 off for the 3-Day courses and 5-Day courses. 5-Day attendees also get a $500 discount if they’ve already attended a 2-Day or 3-Day course. The maximum combined discount is $600 per person.

I registered and paid for a course but now I can’t attend. What do I do?

E-mail info@taproot.com and let them know. If it is more than 30 days before a course we can refund your payment or you can use the payment you’ve already made toward another course or our Summit within two years.

Can I facilitate an investigation when I’m done?

5-Day TapRooT® Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader Training is designed for people who want to use TapRooT® to lead an investigation. The 2-Day and 3-Day courses are designed to teach the investigators the essential TapRooT® techniques needed to find and fix the root causes of problems but not all the team leader skills from the 5-Day Course. See the Courses page for the differences between our 2-Day, 3-Day, and 5-Day TapRooT® courses.

Will this course teach me to teach TapRooT® to others?

No. When you attend a TapRooT® course, you are equipped to conduct or be a part of an investigation in your workplace. You are not certified to teach TapRooT® Courses. For the requirements to become a Certified TapRooT® Instructor, see:

Can we have a course at our site?

Usually it is cost beneficial to have an on-site course if you have 10 or more individuals to train at one location. Call 865-539-2139 or e-mail info@taproot.com for more information.

How much does the software cost?

Single-user software costs $1895 USD. If you attend a 2-Day Public Course, the price is reduced to $795. Enterprise Software cost depends on the size of your company; you can call 865-539-2139 or e-mail info@taproot.com for a quote.

Is software included in my course fee?

Software is included in your course fee for the 3-Day and 5-Day course. A free 45-day software trial is included with your 2-Day course fee. If you decide to purchase the software after this trial, e-mail info@taproot.com.

How do I install my software?

When you register for the course, you’ll receive a document with your username and password, so you can download our software from the Internet. Follow the prompts. If you have any problems, visit http://www.taproot.com/support/ and see if you can find an answer to your questions. You can also e-mail techsupport@taproot.com or call 865-539-2139 and ask for tech support if your answer isn’t there.

I got a new computer, OR my software got deleted from my computer. How do I reinstall it?

You can install your software on the new machine using the same installer and serial number used previously. If you do not have the installer or your serial number, email techsupport@taproot.com or call 865-539-2139 and a member of our technical staff will assist you.

How do I get the latest software upgrade?

The most recent version of the TapRooT® software is Version 5.3.2. Using your TapRooT® software, you can verify the version you are using by going to Admin-About TapRooT® and noting the version listed. If the version number is lower than 5.1.4.4, please email techsupport@taproot.com as you may be entitled to a free upgrade. Click here: http://www.taproot.com/storefront to order the single-user upgrade for $395 USD. E-mail info@taproot.com for details about obtaining the Enterprise upgrade.

I’ve already taken a course, but how do I refresh or increase my TapRooT® skills?

First, if you only attended the 2-Day TapRooT® Course, consider attending a 5-Day TapRooT® Course.

Second, attend our Global TapRooT® Summit! Click HERE for more info about the Summit and the pre-Summit Courses. The Advanced TapRooT® Techniques Course and the Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Tracks at the Summit are probably the best for refreshing your knowledge.
