TapRooT(R) Summit Comments - What did you think???

I’m writing this posting to provide a place for Summit Attendees to comment on their experience.

I had many people tell me that this Summit was:

1) The best Summit they ever attended,

2) The best conference they ever attended,

3) Something that they will make every effort to attend in the future. (They said “I can’t believe I’ve missed this in the past!”)

But I wanted all attendees to have a place that they could post comments and let me know what they thought.

So I’m posting this entry and I’ll e-mail all the attendees so that they can comment here.

Thanks

Mark

Great conference! I learned a lot of practical and useful information that I can bring back to my site.

This was a great conference for me. Thank you.

This was my first summit and I have many words of praise for it. I recommend to attend this kind of summit to see how others apply this tool (benchmarking) and to catch some interesting and field-useful-practical ideas.

Be sure first that you understand Taproot and have some experience doing investigations.

This was my second Summit and just wanted to Thank Mark, Linda, Ed, and the entire System Improvements staff for a Summit “Well-done.” First-class pretty much describes the speakers and attendees. The information I heard was both interesting and applicable. I just got through reading Michael Durant’s book and his story is truly amazing, not to mention inspiring. Thanks for the book.See you next year in San Antonio.

An incredible meeting with information that will be extremely beneficial in the future.

Great networking and amazing how many of us have the same problems, just a different industry.

SI did an exceptional job in every category with Mike Durant’s story at the top.

I look forward to next year if I can attend.

Another great summit. As always I continue to learn new things each time. You got me again with Mike’s talk. (Mike Durant - Blackhawk Down Pilot)

I have already prepared a presentation for our next group meeting and have at least two people signed up for the 5 day in Las Vegas, working on another one.

This was my first Summit and I enjoyed it very much.

The Systems Improvement team was so cordial and made me feel very welcome although I just beginning to use TapRooT and become familiar with the process.

Their enthusiasm and energy certain move others toward understanding and appreciating the depth of the product. I look forward to using what I’ve learned.

  8. Sara Says:

This was my first Summit and I was so impressed by the material and presenters. I am already asking to attend the next one.

I had been to other ’seminar’ type conferences and by far this was the best. I and my two co-workers were so impressed that we couldn’t stop sharing with each other on the trip home about the learnings we had gleaned.

All the staff were very helpful and very one on one personable.

Thank you for a great Summit and hope to see you all at the next one.

  9. Dave Dunderdale Says:

The 2006 Summit was my third and most inspiring of all. I don’t know how Mark could get a guest speaker more interesting and intense than the “Black Hawk Down” pilot.

The staff at SI should be given more public acknowledgement at one of the general sessions for the great work that they do.

I’m looking forward to San Antonio in 2007.

The “Summit” was very educational and informative. The people who you interact with in such a diverse industry representation are what makes the Summit different and meaningful. We all can share success and learnings from our various backgrounds. I attend a lot of medical conferences, but this conference lends to more valuable teaching and tools to improve processes at our organization.

This was my first TapRooT Summit and I found it so beneficial, the networking alone was worth it.

One of the best things I found was that TapRooT is a tool that you can use in any system or process and get results that are narrowed and focused.

The hotel was good, staff was excellent and the Systems Improvement Team were always willingly and able to assist when needed.

Look forward to next year in San Antonio.

  12. Chris Christine Says:

A most successful and beneficial Summit. This was one of the best in memory, from the keynote speakers to the breakout sessions and wrapup. The whole SI team did a great job. I’d like to see an Environmental track at next year’s San Antonio Summit. Many thanks again.
