San Antonio, a city with a vibrant night life, is the host for the 2010 Summit … but we didn’t forget travelers who are content to just relax in the hotel after a busy Summit day. That’s why we chose the Westin Riverwalk.

During our site visit, we were happy to find that the Westin is “off the beaten path,” yet right on the Riverwalk! It is just steps away from popular Riverwalk restaurants and pubs, but far enough away to be out of the main hustle and bustle.
At the hotel’s Riverwalk level, the Riverwalk meanders past the Westin (pictured below).
At the end of a long day, me and my companions enjoyed beverages on the patio of the hotel restaurant, The Zocca Restaurant and Bar (pictured below).
The Zocca offers delicious Italian cuisine. It’s okay if the weather isn’t perfect, because the Zocca is just as relaxing inside as it is outside, and there is plenty of room for you in the restaurant and at the bar (pictured below).
If you want to grab a great cup of coffee and delicious fresh baked goods — the Cafecito inside the hotel is a perfect fit …
Inside the hotel is warm and inviting with spacious hallways …
A lobby full of comforts with free wifi (while we were there, complimentary Mexican wedding cookies and melon spritzer and Mexican spiced coffee were served in the lobby each afternoon). There are plenty of seats for you to find a nook to read or check your e-mail.
You will also enjoy the terrace seating with amazing Riverwalk views off the lobby area …
