StatoilHydro Submits Oil Spill Investigation Report to the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway

A failed loading hose led to a 4400 cubic meeter spill of crude oil in the Statfjord oil field in the North Sea. The company responsible, StatoilHydro, issued a press release about their root cause analysis. The company press release can be seen at:
