The NTSB has a job opening for an aviation psychologist / human performance investigator. Someone with a Ph.D. in human factors or related field who has been involved in aviation-related research and has at least some personal aviation background (private pilot’s certificate, air traffic control or aviation maintenance) will be most competitive.
