2-Day Hazard Recognition Course Includes Site Visit to Caterpillar

Here is an exciting update on the 2-Day Hard Recognition Course that will be offered just prior to the 2015 Global TapRooT® Summit, June 1 and 2, 2015, Las Vegas, NV.

This course focuses on the tried and true methods of hazard recognition including at risk or unsafe behavior, legislation implications, and hazard identification & rectification. The instructor, Peter Berkholz over 30 year of mining and industrial experience. The course includes a site visit to the local Caterpillar Franchise on Day#2, where participants have the opportunity to put into practice the theory learned on Day#1 during a hazard identification exercise.

The course is run to allow participants to learn about different methods of Hazard identification (Day #1) and then apply the learnings through an actual on site hazard identification exercise (Day #2).

Morning

Site visit at the local Las Vegas Cashman CATERPILLAR Equipment outlet. Where we will inspect selected mobile CAT equipment using various hazard identification documents

Afternoon

Feedback on site visit and the use of Hazard ID tools.
