2019 Global TapRooT® Summit Location Preview: Part 2 A Foodies Paradise

Anybody who is a food lover will be thrilled to know that there are several place to eat inside the resort, plus an in-room dining service. Since our visit was short I didn’t get the chance to try everything and some spots are seasonal, but everything I ate was delicious! It is wonderful to have so many options at your disposal while staying at the resort. This way you don’t have to find a place to eat in an area you’re not familiar with or leave the resort. They even have areas in the resort where you can hangout and relax if you don’t feel like eating huge meal.

The first place we ate at when we arrived was Restaurant 157 which serves American styled food, or you have the option to eat at the buffet that is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I ordered the buffalo wings for lunch and they were superb! I can’t remember what everyone else ordered, but I do remember them enjoying their meals. During our trip I also tried the breakfast and dinner buffet. Each buffet had tons of options, but most importantly the desserts where tasty. My favorite buffet though was the breakfast buffet. They had everything you could possible want for breakfast such as egg, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, pastries, pancakes, and much more!

The resort also caters to sushi lovers right upstairs in the main hotel lobby at Yoi Sushi Bar. The sushi bar opens up to a large terrace with plenty of setting, and right next door is the cozy Sonata Piano Bar. The Piano Bar is a great place to hang out and sip on hand crafted cocktails, beer, and wine served with stunning lake views.

Last but not least is the best place to eat at on the resort. The Lakeside Restaurant and Bar (which is located a few feet away from the hotel) is by far the best place to eat. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a warm cozy atmosphere and a fully stocked wine cellar. The restaurant is split into two sections. One side is a more casual bar type of atmosphere, and on the other side is a nice sit down fine dining type of vibe. They also have tables located outside on their large deck that faces the lake. The food was simply phenomenal! The food paired with beautiful lake views it’s an experience you wont soon forget!
