American Airlines Rough Landing Investigation

Here is the story:

Interesting…..possible fatigue, equipment problems, not following procedures, and recurring problems (corrective action NI?)

Does this sound like your site/industry?

All I can say is based on recent events there is evidence of generic fatigue issues in aviation…and I’m sure many other industries.

It will be interesting to see the outcome of this investigation.  At least the NTSB does a good job (in my opinion) getting to the bottom of things.  Whether there will be long-term effective corrective action is another question.

Do you feel safe when you fly AA (or insert the name of your favorite carrier here)? Like I said this is a generic issue, not an AA issue.  Just my opinion.
