BP Texas City Refinery to be Running at Full Capacity by Year End
The one-two punch of a fatal explosion and Hurricane Rita has kept the BP Texas City Refinery at less than full capacity since the explosion that killed 15 people in 2005. The Houston Chronicle reports that company sources say the plant will regain full capacity before the end of the year.
What is the cost of an accident? In this case, in addition to lives, a tremendous amount of lost production.
