Charles Barkley discovered the story of former University of Tennessee footballer Inky Johnson. “A guy named Inky Johnson has the best video I’ve ever seen in my life,” Barkley noted on-air. “Every young kid — every young kid — should watch this video. It’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Shoutout, Inky Johnson.”
Charles Barkley was taken by surprise when he learned the story behind Inky Johnson, a former cornerback who played for the University of Tennessee. Inky’s amazing life story inspired Charles, a former NBA star and current basketball analyst.
Charles delivered an on-air tribute to Inky, shouting out one of Inky’s most recent videos (see the video so you too can be inspired) during an Inside the NBA broadcast.
