Learn Equipment Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Two Upcoming Courses – Knoxville or Houston

Equifactor® Troubleshooting + TapRooT® RCA = Improved Equipment Reliability

Do you need advanced equipment troubleshooting? Back in 1997, Mark Paradies and Heinz Bloch discovered that repeat equipment failures were not being effectively prevented because:

  1. People in the field did not correctly troubleshoot the equipment problems and
  2. There was no root cause analysis and effective corrective actions being implemented.

What did they do about this problem?

First, they developed an effective troubleshooting technique called Equifactor® based on Heinz Bloch’s extensive experience improving equipment reliability in the petrochemical industry. Hear Heinz talk about his experience HERE on a podcast (where he also mentions root cause analysis).

Second, with the help of SI’s software development team, they developed software to make the troubleshooting techniques easier to use. Are you looking for a better equipment troubleshooting procedure, guide or template? You’ll love our software!

Third, they combined the troubleshooting tools with the proven TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis System to make sure that the root causes of the equipment failures were eliminated to improve future equipment reliability.

Finally, they have worked with Ken Reed and Justin Clark since 2000 to continuously improve Equifactor® Troubleshooting, TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis, and the training to improve the system each year. This includes writing the book, Using Equifactor® Troubleshooting Tools and TapRooT® Root Cause Analysis to Improve Equipment Reliability. The book includes all of Heinz Bloch’s troubleshooting tables.
