FAA Proposes Stall Standards – Is this Aviation 101?

The Wall Street Journal reported that the FAA was releasing draft recommendations for dealing with a stall. These come after an investigation into a 2009 crash where the pilot reacted inappropriately to the indications of a stall while attempting to land in Buffalo, NY.

I’ve posted blog articles about this crash before:

The question I have is:

Are commuter airline pilots receiving enough training and do they have the right kind of experience?
