Former Mitsubishi Executives Fined 200,000 Yen (US$1,900) for Making a False Report About Truck Defects

The Tokyo High Court found three former Misubishi executives guilty of making a false report and fined them the equivalent of US$1,900 each (the maximum penalty under the law).

The report was part of an investigation into a fatal accident involving a wheel that broke free from a Mitsubishi built truck and killed Shiho Okamoto and injured her two children.
