Vincent Vincek will be presenting, “Powering Lives – Using TapRooT® to Promote and Sustain Human and Organizational Performance,” (a story of over a decade of performance improvement!).

This presentation is scheduled during Best Practice Session 6, “TapRooT® Users’ Success Stories,” at the 2023 Global TapRooT® Summit, Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe – Houston, Texas, April 26 – 28, 2023, (PreSummit Courses, April 24 – 25, 2023).

Session Description

Using TapRooT® as the backbone of the  Human and Organizational performance improvement process, in this session we will outline the roadmap that ComEd-Exelon used to achieve and sustain continuous performance improvement over the past decade. We will show how the organization capitalized on learning from incidents and opportunities, and how these learnings were implemented and profoundly impacted and improved day-to-day operations.

Speaker Bio

Vincent Vincek has over 20 years of experience implementing and executing Human and Organizational Performance (Risk Management) programs and processes in a variety of organizations, including leadership positions at three nuclear power plants and recently/currently at ComEd-Exelon.  Vince is the current Chair of the North American Transmission Forum’s Human Performance Core Team.  Vince holds a BS in Management and is passionate about leadership and developing the intentional influence that leaders can have on teams.   When not working or chasing his grandson, he can be found entertaining with the Zone 3 band all around the Midwest.
