Prime responsibilities and duties: Lead Root Cause Analysis studies to minimise repeat failures Life cycle costing, maintainability/availability reviews Provide direction and leadership in maintenance and capital spares planning based on equipment condition information and history. Work with O&M teams to analyze equipment reliability data in order to determine gaps, set appropriate KPIs, and to drive improvement in the areas of greatest impact. Benchmark performance of equipment and systems both internally and externally. Apply best business practice to improve machinery reliability and availability on the asset. Draft reliability and maintenance procedures, review and approve the effectiveness of maintenance procedures. Develop programs and methods to ensure that machinery is operated at optimum efficiency. Develop tools and techniques to monitor and report on critical asset equipment operating status.
