Meet Kevin at the 2009 TapRooT® Summit!

Kevin will be presenting 8 Reasons Why People Don’t Report Problems & 8 Solutions to Improve Employee Involvement at the 2009 TapRooT® Summit.  There are many cultural, and in turn systemic, reasons why people don’t report equipment failures, human errors, near misses, and accidents. Unfortunately, unless work systems are changed to help reduce this cultural challenge, organizations will find it difficult to achieve widespread, and lasting, change. This presentation will give Summit attendees the chance to examine the approaches they currently have in place for listening to, and learning from, their people. An interactive exercise will be used to help them identify those employee feedback barriers that may exist in their own organization and to help them evaluate possible solutions for removing those barriers and increasing their employee engagement levels.

Kevin is co-facilitating a session about how TapRooT® is being utilized to promote best practices within the Pharmaceutical, Food and Manufacturing industries, and co-presenting the Analyzing 230 Environmental Incidents in 5 Months best practice session with Buck Griffith.

Also, Kevin will present Finding Time for Process Excellence – No Fuel, No Progress. He will discuss how most people want to support an organization’s process improvement efforts, but they often don’t have enough time built into their jobs to work on projects, learn new skills, or serve on a team. At the same time, they are wasting time each day attending meetings, processing e-mails, and misusing the limited project and process analysis time that they do have. Kevin’s presentation will include an interactive exercise designed to help you eliminate non-value added time and better utilize your process improvement time investments.

So many information-packed, interactive sessions to choose from!  LEARN MORE about the 2009 Summit on our website:
