Greg Allan established Capability Resources in 2000 (Quality Endorsed to ISO 9001). Capability Resources employs a staff of 50, and specializes in safety, training, labor supply, compliance and welding safety.
Greg has 26 years of mining and associated industry experience with Rio Tinto, BHP and CSR in technical operations and quality control management roles. He has investigated numerous serious mining industry incidents. Greg’s qualifications include: BSc, Cert IV Assessment & Workplace Training, and his memberships include: MemberAusIMM, Coal Preparation Society, FellowQSA.
Michael Smith is a Manager at Capability Resources. He has 25 years of mining industry experience with Rio Tinto in both operations and process superintendent roles (specializing in coal preparation and dispatch). Michael has investigated numerous mining industry incidents, and has 11 years of experience in quality control and operational roles in the steel manufacturing industry with BHP Australia.
