I grew up in Illinois. I de-tasseled corn and was a de-tasseling crew boss. The main hazard we faced was heat prostration/stroke and vehicle accidents. But this crew was decimated by an unexpected electrical hazard in a muddy field.

What are your ideas?

How could this accident be avoided?

What are the lessons we should learn?
