Behavior Change & Stopping Human Error Track

•   In “Behavior and Human Error,” Jim Whiting will explain why “All Behavior Depends on Perception of Risk” and Bill Sirois will explain “How Fatigue Impacts Human Error.”  Learn what drives people and become more knowledgeable about fatigue.

 •   “Critical Task Tool/Procedure Improvement Project” will be presented by Renee Jourdin and Megan Roth and will discuss how to improve training through the use of job aids to increase the reliability of employees.

•   Dr. Beverly Chiodo will discuss “Character Driven Success.”  In this session, employee communication tips will be explored.  Dr. Chiodo is a professor in the Department of Management at Texas State University, and in 1997, was named “The Best Business Professor in the Nation” by the National Business Education Association.  How much is learning from the best worth?  Priceless.

•   Dr. Chiodo will also present “Changing Behavior by Praising the 49 Character Traits” where positive motivation will be explored.  Motivation can lead to outstanding business results; you do not want to miss this one.

•   In “Event Free Performance Toolbook,” Steve Franker will share techniques and work practices that reduce errors and improve human performance.

•    In “Flipping the Switch: Living the QBQ,” John Miller will share fun and meaningful stories of personal accountability.  Conducted more as a workshop, there will be interaction with your peers based on questions provided by John.

That is a lot of value for $995!  And that does not count the benchmarking with old and new friends from your and other industries.  But WAIT!  There is MORE: 

You’ll meet in the morning and afternoon with attendees from all tracks to hear the keynote speakers:
