Heads-up Employers: OSHA Top 10 Cited Workplace Safety Violations for 2021

OSHA announced its Top 10 most frequently cited workplace safety violations for 2021, publishing this list to alert employers about these commonly cited violations so they can take steps to find and fix recognized hazards before OSHA shows up.

Fall Protection (1926.501) remains in the Top 10 list of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) commonly cited violations for the 11th year in a row, followed by Respiratory Protection (1910.134,) and Ladders (1926.1053). Hazard Communication, which spent the last several years at number two, moved to the fifth spot on the 2021 list.
